Dr. Comfort

Comfort and quality are exactly what the doctor ordered. Dr. Comfort shoes, slippers, socks and inserts are designed to keep your feet healthy.

Dr. Comfort was founded in 2002 and is the worldwide leading provider of  therapeutic  footwear. They became the leader of the therapeutic shoe industry by recognizing the need for STYLE, COMFORT and QUALITY. Today, the Dr. Comfort footwear line includes diabetic shoes, prescription and non-prescription inserts, diabetic socks, slippers, sandals and compression hosiery.

Your Comfort Comes First

Dr. Comfort was founded upon and continues to honor these fundamental principles:

  • Ensuring your total satisfaction with the quality, look and feel of Dr. Comfort footwear.
  • Creating products that promote foot health for people with diabetes and other chronic conditions.
  • Using top quality leather and other natural materials for comfort and quality you’ll appreciate every step of the way.
  • Fitting shoes properly to alleviate — even prevent — foot complications and deformities.
  • Improving our footwear from heel to toe every day, to ensure that they’re the best they can be.
  • Bettering your daily life — because your feet deserve the best care you can give them.

Dr. Comfort shoes are designed and manufactured to the highest standards of foot wellness, especially for people living with diabetes and other health conditions that affect their feet — including swelling, bunions, hammertoes and more.

Based on more than 25 years of footwear design experience and with input from board-certified podiatrists, Dr. Comfort shoes are made using only the finest quality materials — so they’re as fashionable as they are comfortable and healthy for your feet. Most styles are available in a full range of sizes and difficult-to-fit widths.

Dr. Comfort's shoes are the best fitting, finest quality therapeutic footwear available. In many cases, Dr. Comfort shoes are covered by Medicare and your supplementary insurance if you have diabetes. To qualify, your certifying physician (M.D. or D.O.) must confirm that:
